In order to accelerate the achievement of national development targets, the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture has started the World Class Professor (WCP) program, which is a program that invites world-class professors from various well-known domestic/overseas universities as visiting professors to be placed in various universities in Indonesia for a maximum period of up to the end of November, and sending Indonesian researchers to the visiting professor's home institution.

This program is intended so that lecturers/researchers can interact with well-known and superior professors so that they can improve academic life, competence, quality and contribution to the development of science and technology and strengthening the National Innovation system in an effort to optimally utilize the diversity and wealth of Indonesia's natural resources for the greatest welfare. Indonesian people as mandated by the constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

Following up on the program, ITK also did not want to miss this golden opportunity. Through the announcement delivered by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 2965/E4/DT.04.03/2022 that 4 doctoral lecturers from ITK were declared to have passed the grant funding of this prestigious event. One of them is a Chemical Engineering Lecturer, Dr. Eng Lusi Ernawati, M.Sc, so this achievement is a very proud thing for ChE ITK in particular. 3 other lecturers who passed were Happy Aprilia, Ph.D, Dr. Musyarofah and Dr. Eng Yunita Triyana.

Hopefully this achievement will further motivate the ITK Academic Community to excel and be useful for our university and nation..
