HIMATEKKIM ITK visited the LKSA Amanah Qurrota A'yuni Orphanage through the CHE-MATION (Chemical Engineering Affirmative Action) activity on Saturday, May 21, 2022. This activity is a form of concern for ITK chemical engineering students towards the environment as well as the condition of the community around ITK. Activities carried out during this visit were in the form of social services and education in the field of science about how to make hand washing soap from cooking oil which could be entertainment for orphanage children. This activity is in line with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes Education and Teaching, Research and Development and Community Service.

Chairman of HIMATEKKIM ITK Bayu WIjaya Kusuma hopes that this activity can foster a sense of concern among students for the surrounding environment and implement chemical engineering applications in the community so that the knowledge gained in lectures can become useful knowledge, especially for the surrounding community.
