Balikpapan - Students of the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Kalimantan Institute of Technology succeeded in obtaining funding from SIMBELMAWA in the 2022 Student Creativity Week (PKM) Competition. The field taken was PKM-KC (Karsa Cipta), with the innovation title being the Design of Surfactant Degradation Equipment With Photocatalysts Zno Nanoparticles in Detergent Waste.
These 3 students are the 2019 and 2020 batches, namely Hanifah Fitriani 2019 as team leader, Wiwi Norzahra 2019 as a member and Ahlul Duwi Saputra 2020 as a member. With a supervisor, namely Mrs. Dian Rahmawati, S.T., M.EngSc.
“From the many proposals submitted, Alhamdulillah, our team is one of the teams that was able to pass funding from SIMBELMAWA and prepare themselves for the PIMNAS selection. Starting from the task of continuing to try to discuss more deeply with the supervisor about detergent wastewater, the idea came up to reduce environmental pollution from detergent wastewater.” – Hanifah's thread
"The idea we took also came from one of the journals, so we tried to innovate by changing the tool system from batch to continuous with catalyst and UV light." – continued Ahlul
"Hopefully we can get maximum results in preparation for PIMNAS, the spirit of our teammates." – continued Wiwi
Congratulations on the achievement!
