Balikpapan – Students of Chemical Engineering Study Program, Kalimantan Institute of Technology, won the Mayor's Award as Outstanding Citizen and Pioneer Citizen of Balikpapan City in the context of the 125th Anniversary of Balikpapan City. The student, on behalf of Steve Geraldy Pala'langan, received the award because in September 2021 Steve won 3rd place in the GenRe Ambassador of East Kalimantan Province 2021 and other achievements in 2021 were proposed by the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning (DP3AKB) Balikpapan City to the Mayor of Balikpapan as an outstanding citizen of the city of Balikpapan in 2022 to be precise in the context of the anniversary of the City of Balikpapan.
